On page 750 of the Harriot Text (Part 1) section of the Hakluyt text, "faire houses" refers to houses in English cities such as the gentlemen adventurers were accustomed to and for which they wished while in the New World, while on page 760 of the same text the term refers to the houses of a sort of heaven as described by one of the Algonquians.
